Morobe Province is one of the four provinces of the Momase Region of Papua New Guinea. Lae City is the provincial capital of Morobe and the second largest city and industrial centre of Papua New Guinea. Morobe Province offers some of the exotic locations for tourism ranging from mountains shaped as shark teeth to beautiful white sandy beaches in Finschafen. The largets valley in Papua New Guinea is the Markham Valley and is located in Morobe. Also located in Morobe Province are two World War 2 tracks namely: Bulldog track which starts from Bulolo and ends in Gulf Province towards the southern coast and the Black Cats Track which starts in Wau and ends the Salamua Bay of the northern coast in Morobe.
