Morobe Province is one of the four provinces of the Momase Region of Papua New Guinea. Morobe is the largest province in terms of population and this is the reflection of the fertile land and variety of food available to the people.

The people of Morobe live in mountains of the Saruwaget Mountain Ranges and Owen Stanley Mountain Ranges, Markham Valley and surrounding, coastal areas of the mainland as well as Siassi and Tami Islands.
