| Culture and Traditions of Bougainville |
|
Central Autonomous Region of Bougainville (ABG) is one of the five provinces of the Islands Region of Papua New Guinea. One of the unique culture is use of pipes made out of the bamboo tree as musical instrument. While some of the participants sing along, others dance to the tune of the beat and music produced from the bamboo pipes. Bougainvillians are proud of their culture and are often present in many of the Cultural Shows and Festivals celebrated throughout Papua New Guinea Photos below show some of the cultures and traditions of the Bougainville people.
