Beautification of Port Moresby City

Port Moresby City, the capital city and gateway of Papua New Guinea is finally seeing some major changes especially the beautification and upgrading or construction of facilities and infrastructure in and around parks, roads and suburbs all over Port Moresby.

From a water fountain at Gerehu round-about to sculptures of a bird of paradise at Erima and Lagatoi canoe at Konedobu and children’s playground in parks around Port Moresby including Ela Beach, the residents of Port Moresby including the grassroots now know the real meaning of development. The physical changes may not benefit all but at least the working class and the public can appreciate that the tax they pay is finally being put to good use.
