See photos of the landslip at Daulo Pass which halted traffic flow into and out of the Highlands Region of Papua New Guinea. As soon as one section of the highway is patched up, another section falls over.

Life is not pretty good up there with ordinary people having to walk at least 3 kilometres to reach the other side to continue on the journey. Its just difficult to imagine running a business up in the highlands where hundreds of thousands of kina worth of cargo sits idle on both sides of the slips all the while the bureaucracy somewhere in Port Moresby has forgotten that the millons of kina they continue to play around with everyday was actually generated from economic activity from this highway.
