| Protest at Sir Michael Leadership Trial In March 2011 |

Thursday, 10th of March 2011 will go down in the history books of Papua New Guinea as the day the nation's founding father and the longest serving politician in the Commonwealth Sir Micheal T. Somare was brought to Leadership Tribunal over allegation of breaching certain provisions of the Leadership Code of Papua New Guinea. On the same day in Port Moresby, a protest and awareness was also conducted by non other than Noel Anjo urging Sir Michael Somare to respect the laws of the land and allow the investigations to clear him of any wrong doing. Photos below show the protest and awareness carried out by Noel Anjo in the precinct of National Archives Building next to the Public Library and Court House at Waigani, Port Moresby. UPDATE - 25th March 2011 The Leadership Tribunal of Sir Michael Somare did find him guilty and handed him a suspension of 14 days without pay.
