World AIDS Day falls on the 1st of December every year. The World AIDS Day was declared by the World Health Organisation (WHO) in 1988 to raise public awareness about HIV/AIDS issues and the need to support and provide for those living with HIV/AIDS.
World AIDS Day is now observed by millions of people in more than 190 countries around the globe.
